Inter’s Alessandro Bastoni will begin a period of quarantine today according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere della Sera.
The highly rated centre back has tested positive for COVID-19 and he will be back in Milan today where he will begin his 14 day quarantine but it is yet to be decided whether he will quarantine at Inter’s training ground or if he will do so at his home.
Inter are hoping to let the players not on international duty to be able to go back and forward between their homes and the training facilities but the report states that entering into a bubble is a possibility.
The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to state that it remains to be seen what will happen with Milan Skriniar.
The Slovakian national team player has already returned one positive test and if he returns another it is unclear as to whether or not he will quarantine in Slovakia or if he will be allowed to return to Italy before beginning the quarantine process.
