Italian media outlets Gazzetta dello Sport, Corriere dello Sport and Tuttosport have all reviewed Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi’s performance for Italy in the Azzurri’s resounding 6-0 win over European minnows Moldova.

Sensi started the match at Fiorentina’s Stadio Artemio Franchi on the bench and came on in the 68th minute of the match in place of Giacomo Bonaventura with Roberto Mancini’s side already 5-0 up at that stage.

Gazzetta dello Sport gave him a rating of 6/10 and said: “He came on in place of Bonaventura, in the duel role of mezzala and regista. Some of his movements were different from all the other midfielders but there was no time for him to affect the game.”

Corriere dello Sport also rated him 6/10 and said: “He only dribbled but he did it well.”

Tuttosport also gave him 6/10 and said: “He moved the ball cunningly.”

Sensi joined Inter in the Summer of 2019 from Sassuolo in a loan with option to buy deal and Inter took up the option to keep him at the club on a permanent basis. Since his arrival he has made a total of 22 appearances, in which he has scored three goals and tallied four assists.

This season the midfielder has appeared in all three of Inter’s games to date. He has started one of the matches and has been on the park for a total of 110 minutes but he has been unable to make any goal contributions.
