Inter could make another attempt to sign Marcos Alonso in the upcoming January transfer window according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, which was broadcast a short time ago.
Inter tried in vain to sign Alonso and Chelsea teammate Emerson Palmieri during the recently concluded transfer window and could in fact go back in for the former Fiorentina player on loan.
Alonso’s relations with Chelsea manager Frank Lampard have reportedly soured as of late due to his conduct upon being substituted against West Bromwich Albion and he has been left out of the Chelsea squad in the three games since the West Bromwich Albion match.
The 29-year-old, who came through the ranks at Real Madrid, joined Chelsea back in the Summer of 2016 and is contracted to the Premier League club until the end of the 2022/23 season.
This season he has made three appearances across all competitions to date and in his time on the park he has failed to make any goal contributions.
