A report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport has analysed Inter midfielder Christian Eriksen’s recent outburst in the media.
The report details how the 28-year-old Dane recently publicly complained about the lack of playing time with the Nerazzurri, unhappy at how little he is used by coach Antonio Conte.
The former Tottenham midfielder carefully worded his comments in order to avoid controversy, simply wanting to send a message to both Conte and the Nerazzurri.
Eriksen has the opportunity to impress next week in the derby against AC Milan, the report continues, with Roberto Gagliardini and Radja Nainggolan both testing positive for COVID-19, Stefano Sensi being disqualified, and Matias Vecino still being injured.
The Dane is likely to start on the bench but could make an impact off the bench. The player will need to impress in the coming months, as a failure to do so could see him leave in the January transfer window, after only a year.
