A report from Italian media outlet PassioneInter.com has analysed the line-ups in Inter’s upcoming derby against AC Milan.

The report details how coach Antonio Conte has been forced to re-design his squad for next week’s game, due to the multiple positive cases of COVID-19.

With Alessandro Bastoni and Milan Skriniar both testing positive, Danilo D’Ambrosio and Aleksandar Kolarov will start alongside Stefan de Vrij in the defense.

The midfield will be made up of Marcelo Brozovic and Arturo Vidal, with Ashley Young and Achraf Hakimi on either wing. Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez will start up-front, both fully fit.

AC Milan will have Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic available, after his two negative COVID-19 tests. Matteo Gabbia has caught the contagion, however, and so Alessio Romagnoli is expected to return to the squad.

Inter Probable Line-up (3-4-1-2): Samir Handanovic; Danilo D’Ambrosio, Stefan De Vrij, Aleksandar Kolarov; Achraf Hakimi, Arturo Vidal, Marcelo Brozovic, Ashley Young; Nicolo Barella; Romelu Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez.

Milan Probable Line-up (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Calabria, Kjaer, Romagnoli, Hernandez; Bennacer, Kessie; Saelemaekers, Chalanoglu, Brahim Diaz; Leao.
