Inter wing-back Ivan Perisic is fine according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
During the recently concluded international break, Perisic took a knock but this report claims that the player is in fact fine and there is nothing to worry about when it comes to his condition ahead of tomorrow evening’s Derby della Madonnina against AC Milan.
The report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to add that the team will go into a training camp at the club’s training facilities after today and highlights that the fiduciary isolation that the team are currently under will be lifted on Tuesday, which will 10 days since the last Inter player tested positive for COVID-19 in Ashley Young.
Inter have had six players test positive for COVID-19 recently. In addition to Young, Alessandro Bastoni, Milan Skriniar, Roberto Gagliardini, Radja Nainggolan and Ionut Andrei Radu have all also tested positive for COVID-19.
