Emerson Palmieri has agreed personal terms with Inter according to a Spanish media reports, as reported by Italian news outlet PassioneInter.com.
The Chelsea and Italian national team wing-back drew strong links to Inter in the recently concluded Summer transfer window but Inter were unable to get a deal done for him.
Having now agreed terms with him, the report goes on to suggest that Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta is prepared to make loan with option to buy offer for the player with the option to buy being set at €10 million.
Chelsea have previously demanded big money for Emerson despite the fact he is far from being a first choice at the club but Marotta hopes Chelsea will not be as rigid with his price as they have been in the past.
This season the former Roma and Santos defender has been limited to just two appearances across all competitions, in which he has failed to make any goal contributions.
