Marco Benassi was presented yesterday at the Centro Con di Tirrenia as Livorno’s new midfielder and said he had “positive feelings” about the move. The midfielder leaves Inter on loan and talked about his first impressions of his new club: “I immediately got a positive impression of this group and Duncan had already told me about the excellent locker room.”
About his role: “I have almost always played in front of the defense, but I can play as a central midfielder as well. Last year, Inter had many injuries, but for me it was an opportunity to show off. Now I’m in Livorno and for me it is a great opportunity to give my best, hoping to play some more in Serie A.”
