The match official assignments for this weekend’s Serie A action have been confirmed with Davide Massa assigned to referee Inter’s match away to Genoa.

The 39-year-old referee, who has been a referee in Serie A since 2011, has refereed six games across all competitions to date this term, none of which have involved Saturday’s hosts Genoa or visitors Inter.

Stefano Alassio and Matteo Bottegoni have been assigned to be Massa’s assistants at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris in Genoa whilst Gianluca Manganiello will be the fourth official for the match.

Marco Di Bello will be in charge of VAR and will have Stefano Liberti as his assistant.

Genoa head into this weekend’s action sitting in 11th place in the Serie A standings with four points to their name having played three games.

Inter are meanwhile sitting in sixth place in the standings having obtained seven points from their opening four fixtures in the league.
