Milan Skriniar will still return to Italy this weekend even if he returns another positive test result for COVID-19 according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia journalist and transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, as per Italian news outlet FCInter1908.it.

The Inter central defender is one of seven Nerazzurri players to have tested positive for COVID-19 in recent weeks and has been stuck in his native Slovakia in quarantine since he first returned a positive result.

Skriniar’s latest test results are awaited and regardless of the result, his return to Italy and more specifically Milan, will be organised for this weekend with all of the necessary safety measures in mind.

Roberto Gagliardini and Ionut Andrei Radu both also tested positive again and they will be subjected to another swab test tomorrow to see if they are still positive for COVID-19. Ashley Young will also be given another swab test.
