Italian journalist Fabio Ravezzani discussed Inter’s cagey 1-1 draw with Atalanta yesterday in a post on his Twitter page.

The Milanese club took the lead in the 58th minute thanks to a goal from 23-year-old Argentine striker Lautaro Martinez, who scored for the second game in a row.

The lead was short lived, however, as 25-year-old Russian forward Aleksei Miranchuk netted an equaliser in the 79th minute, ending the game in a 1-1 draw.

Antonio Conte’s side have only won one of their last five league games, with that game being a 2-0 win over Genoa last month.

The Nerazzurri have also struggled in the Champions League, earning only two points from draws against Borussia Monchengladbach and Shakhtar Donetsk, and losing against Real Madrid last week.

Inter will have to work hard to improve ahead of their next game against Torino on the 22nd November, after the international break.

Ravezzani discussed yesterday’s game, saying:

“Inter risk very little and refuses to be aggressive, pressing, asphyxiating (which has been happening for a long time).

“They find a goal thanks to their superior qualities, wastes the chance to double it, then gives themselves to Atalanta until the equaliser. Always the same match. Bad.”
