Inter duo Ivan Perisic and Marcelo Brozovic are unlikely to play for Croatia in their international friendly match against Turkey according to a report from the online edition of Croatian news outlet Sportske Novosti.
Zlatko Dalic’s side are due to face Turkey at Besiktas’ Vodafone Arena tomorrow evening and rather than field a full strength team, Dalic’s intentions are to field a somewhat experimental line-up that will give players on the fringes of the squad a chance to play.
Perisic, Brozovic and the other big names in the Croatian squad will all return for the final UEFA Nations League group stage matches with Sweden on Saturday and Portugal this coming Tuesday.
This season Perisic has made 10 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored two goals and provided as many assists for his Nerazzurri teammates. Brozovic has meanwhile scored one goal in 10 appearances for Inter this term.
