Real Madrid have placed out of favour midfielder Isco on the transfer list ahead of the upcoming January transfer window according to a report from the online edition of Spanish newspaper El Confidencial.

Isco has been played on the transfer list with manager Zinedine Zidane’s permission and whilst there is talk of Everton being interest and being willing to make a €20 million bid, Real Madrid are hopeful that more clubs will be interested and a bidding war could be started.

Arsenal have shown a previous interest in signing Isco but currently have Dani Ceballos at the club already playing in the role that Isco would play in.

Isco’s contract with Los Blancos is due to expire at the end of next season and they hope to be able to get as much money as possible for him rather than risk losing him for nothing in about 18 months time.

Recent reports elsewhere in the media have seen Inter linked with the Spaniard with some reports suggesting Inter and Real Madrid could swap Isco and Christian Eriksen.
