Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin discussed Inter coach Antonio Conte’s statements made to the media after the Nerazzurri’s 3-0 win over Sassuolo yesterday in a post on his Twitter page.

The Milanese club got off to an early lead in the game, thanks to a fourth minute strike from Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez.

This lead was extended in the 14th minute by an own goal from Sassuolo defender Vlad Chiriches. A bad day was made worse in the 60th minute, when Italian midfielder Roberto Gagliardini closed out the game with a third goal.

Inter’s win means that they are now second in the league table after nine games, sitting on 18 points, tied with the Neroverdi.

They are two points behind league leaders AC Milan, who can extend their lead with a win over strugglers Fiorentina tomorrow afternoon.

Antonio Conte highlighted in the media after the game how Inter are being constantly harassed by the press.

Biasin discussed Antonio Conte’s statements in a Tweet, saying:

“Inter, for better or for worse, are in the spotlight like all clubs built to win something. More than for the content of what he said, but Conte’s statements are significant because they say that Conte is back to being Conte.”
