Inter striker Lautaro Martinez has requested help from Portuguese super-agent Jorge Mendes in an attempt to find a new club, according to a report from Spanish media outlet Marca earlier today.

The report details how the 23-year-old Argentine striker, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2023, will rely on Mendes to help him find a new club, who are willing to purchase him from Inter.

Beto Yaqué and Rolando Zarate will continue to be the only agents of Lautaro, whilst Mendes will simply work to find interested clubs.

To date, there have been no offers or official interest, with many clubs waiting for the transfer window to open before making serious moves.

Catalan side Barcelona were incredibly interested in signing Lautaro throughout this year, but failed to pay his €111 million release clause and could not reach an agreement with the Nerazzurri regarding a price.

Lautaro has made 13 appearances across all competitions so far this season, scoring six goals and providing three assists.
