Inter striker Romelu Lukaku has become a complete player and a leader for Inter both on and off the pitch according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
In 2020, nobody, not even Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski or Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland, has managed to score more than him in European competition with him having scored 11 goals between the Champions League and Europa League.
In this calendar year, only Lewandwoski, Haaland and Juventus’ Cristiano Ronaldo have scored more than him between club and international football.
The Belgian national team player is decisive and not just for his goals. He is a complete player in Inter capable of doing so many things in addition to scoring goals. He has become a leader of a team like he has never been before in his playing career.
This season the former Manchester United player has scored 11 goals in 12 games across all competitions to date.
