Matias Vecino is nearing a full recovery from injury and will require a further three to four weeks to fully recover according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
The Uruguayan national team midfielder has been sidelined since near the end of last season after undergoing surgery to correct a meniscus injury.
Vecino has been back at Inter’s training ground to continue his recovery and has started running again after his long time out and the report goes on to add that when the January transfer window opens he will be loaned out.
Vecino had been strongly linked with Napoli but his injury led to the Partenopei club signing Chelsea’s Tiemoue Bakayoko instead.
Some reports have stated that he would like to leave the clubs whilst other reports have stated that he intends to try and get himself back into the Nerazzurri team.
