Inter will meet with Roberto Gagliardini’s agent soon to discuss a contract renewal with the club according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Gagliardini has been in good form as of late with him performing well in Inter’s matches versus Sassuolo, Borussia Monchengladbach and most recently Bologna.

He has seen himself deployed a lot more recently due to circumstance with Marcelo Brozovic having to miss out due to having COVID-19 and Arturo Vidal being suspended for that Borussia Monchengladbach match.

Inter have decided to bet on him and will discuss a contract renewal until 2025 with his agent Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Riso although there is no rush to come to an agreement seeing as the Italian national team player’s current deal with the club is not due to expire until 2023.

The 26-year-old has made 10 appearances across all competitions to date this term, in which he has scored two goals and provided as many assists.
