Inter midfielder Christian Eriksen will almost certainly leave the club in January, in either a definitive sale or on loan, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The report details how the 28-year-old Danish midfielder, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2024, is incredibly unlikely to stay with Inter after January, especially in the run-up to next summer’s European Championships.

Eriksen would prefer to leave on a permanent basis, whether that’s a definitive sale or in an exchange deal.

Inter want to earn at least €30 million from him, considering that he cost around €20 million and earns around €7 million net per season.

The management, who had previously stopped Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio from loaning out players, has now given the green light, as long as their players’ values don’t depreciate.

A loan is less pleasing to Eriksen as he doesn’t want to simply bounce around before returning.

Three teams could look to exchange a player for Eriksen. Paris Saint-Germain with Leandro Paredes, Bayern Munich with Corentin Tolisso and Arsenal with Granit Xhaka.
