Inter are open to letting Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen leave the club on loan in January, after a lack of concrete offers, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report details how the 28-year-old Dane is set to leave Milan after only a year, having failed to adapt to coach Antonio Conte’s tactical system and establish himself in the Italian peninsula.

The Milanese club did want to sell him definitively but the problem is a lack of concrete offers, with Premier League sides like Arsenal and Manchester United remaining unconvinced about the investment.

A possible exchange with Paris Saint-Germain and Leandro Paredes could take place, but it is still in the early stages for now.

The idea of loaning out Eriksen until the end of the season is an attractive one, saving them having to pay his wage bill and giving the club time to find a suitable buyer.

Inter are also set to say goodbye to Radja Nainggolan in January, with a return to Cagliari likely, although Fiorentina are also keen.
