Italian journalist Marco Bucciantini discussed Inter’s important 2-1 win over Spezia and the performance of Italian midfielder Stefano Sensi whilst speaking with Italian broadcaster Sky Sports Italia earlier today.

“Sensi can give Inter speed of thought. The Nerazzurri are winning as they can, with realism. This is a team that can evolve, even with Sensi.”

The 25-year-old Sensi, who is contracted to the Milanese club until 2024, has just started to return to his peak physical condition, after suffering with a variety of injuries over the last 14 months.

The former Sassuolo’s career in Milan started incredibly well, with him scoring three goals and providing four assists in the first six games of the campaign, before he suffered a serious injury against Juventus.

That, and a range of different injuries, plagued the rest of his debut season with the Nerazzurri, and muscle problems this season also limited his chances.

The 25-year-old Italian has featured in the last three Serie A games and will be hoping to make his first start in a while after the Christmas break.
