Inter striker Lautaro Martinez has went without a goal for the past month, a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport has highlighted ahead of Inter’s match away to Hellas Verona.
The 23-year-old Argentine national team forward last scored on the 22nd November in Inter’s 4-2 home win over Torino and has failed to score in Inter’s eight matches in the time since across all competitions.
Inter have approached the Christmas break very tired and could desperately do with the former Racing Club player finding his scoring boots again, especially in tonight’s match with Hellas Verona, who have caused big sides no shortage of problems this term.
Since joining Inter in the Summer of 2018, Lautaro has made 103 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 36 goals and provided 14 assists for his teammates. This season he has scored six goals and provided five assists in 19 appearances to date.
