Arsenal could soon make a move to sign Inter attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Eriksen is widely expected to depart Inter during next month’s transfer window and whilst Arsenal have not yet submitted an offer to sign him, agents close to the club suggest there may be a move soon. It is for this reason that Inter have identified Granit Xhaka and Dani Ceballos as potential counterparts.

Arsenal are not the only club to have been linked with moving for Eriksen either. Paris Saint-Germain have been strongly linked too.

Mauricio Pochettino, who managed Eriksen at Tottenham Hotspur, is widely expected to take charge of the French side. It remains to be seen what Pochettino’s intentions are with it understood that he wishes to evaluate his side first, including Leandro Paredes, who has been linked with Inter as of late.
