Signing Emerson Palmieri has become very complicated for Inter according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, which was broadcast a short time ago.
The Italian national team wing-back has long been linked with a potential switch to Inter and as per this report, Chelsea just want money and have no plans to accept any counterparts for the former Roma defender, who has fallen out of favour at the Premier League club this term.
Inter have been linked with signing Emerson pretty much ever since Antonio Conte became the club’s manager in 2019 but unless they are able to raise the appropriate funds, it looks as if they will have to shelf the idea of bringing in the 26-year-old, who has 18 months left to run on his contract with Chelsea.
This season Emerson, who joined Chelsea in January 2018, has made eight appearances across all competitions to date, during which he has failed to make any goal contributions.
