Sebastiano Esposito could leave SPAL in the upcoming January transfer window according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

The Inter youngster was loaned out to the Serie B club for the duration of this season but has struggled to cement a place in the starting line-up.

He has been relegated to fourth choice striker at the Ferrara based club and for this reason, Inter could bring him back and loan him out elsewhere to a club where he could play moe. Should he remain on the bench in SPAL’s next two matches, the most likely outcome is a departure.

The report goes on to explain that Serie B trio Pescara, Cremonese and Brescia are all keeping tabs on Esposito’s situation.

The highly rated Italian under 21 national team player has made 13 appearances whilst on loan at SPAL, in which he has scored a single goal in just under 700 minutes on the park.
