Inter are keeping tabs on Fluminense youngster Marcos Paulo according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.
Inter’s scouts have given rave reviews about the Portugal youth national team representative and Inter are further attracted him due to the fact he could be signed on a free transfer.
Paulo’s contract with the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A side is set to expire at the end of June 2021 and despite Fluminense pushing for him to renew his contract, he has absolutely no intention of putting pen to paper on a new deal.
The 19-year-old, who is capable of playing on the left or right wing as well as up front, is a product of Fluminense’s academy and this year he made 32 appearances across all competitions.
During his time on the park, which totalled just under 1800 minutes, the Portuguese under 19 international, who will turn 20 in February, has five goals and five assists.
