Inter’s owners Suning hope to obtain at least €30 million a year from the new main shirt sponsor according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Current main shirt sponsors Pirelli pay Inter a base sum of just €10 million a year and with bonuses that figure rises to €19 million, a figure considered too low for a club of Inter’s stature.

The Evergrande Group, Hisense and Samsung are all in the running to become Inter’s next main shirt sponsor and it would appear that the Evergrande Group are closest to coming to an agreement with the Nerazzurri club, who have worn Pirelli on the front of their shirts for 20 plus years.

The report goes on to explain that Inter could receive an immediate financial boost from the new main shirt sponsor through way of a signing bonus, similar to the €25 million signing bonuses Suning provided Inter with when they agreed a €16.5 million a year training ground sponsorship deal.
