Ivan Perisic is a problem that Inter have to solve, at least according to an Italian media report today.
As per Gazzetta dello Sport, the Croatian was once again unable to make the desired contribution when he came off the bench in Sunday’s match away to Roma.
Perisic came on in place of Lautaro Martinez and ultimately done more damage than good with him crossing poorly, committing many fouls and showing little in the way of malice.
This is not the first time that this has happened when Perisic has come off the bench either with the report pointing out that it also happened in the games against Atalanta and Napoli.
Antonio Conte is also partly at fault for the manner in which the former Bayern Munich loanee is coming onto the pitch.
Perisic initially made himself completely available to play at left wing-back in order to be part of the team but now Conte is focused on using Ashley Young at left wing-back and using Perisic as a substitute for the attackers.
