Inter coach Antonio Conte hopes to be able to give midfielder Stefano Sensi more playing time in the coming weeks, according to an Italian broadcaster report this evening.

As per Sky Sport Italia, Sensi is physically fine, following a slight scare that caused him not to play in the Coppa Italia win over Fiorentina due to a fatigued calf muscle.

Conte would like to be able to rely upon Sensi more, who, when used, has shown his ability to play a leading role and make an impact on the Nerazzurri’s attacking play.

It is difficult to imagine Sensi being given a start immediately in the next match, which comes away to Udinese on Saturday night, and it is more likely that he will get to come off of the substitutes bench again.

The injury-prone midfielder has been limited to just nine appearances across all competitions this season and while he has not scored or assisted, he has proven to be a good luck charm when playing with Inter having won seven, drawn one and lost one.
