Inter coach Antonio Conte has the full backing of his squad and has built a tight-knit unit at the club, despite ongoing concerns over unpaid wages.
The Nerazzurri currently sit second in Serie A after yesterday’s goalless draw with Udinese, but are only two points off league leaders AC Milan at the halfway point of the campaign.
Despite financial concerns behind the scenes, including deferral of wages, Corriere della Sera report that Conte enjoys complete support from his players and they are willing to continue working for him.
The former Juventus and Chelsea coach has united the team against the backdrop of the outstanding wages, ahead of a Coppa Italia Quarter-Final clash against Milan on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the wages deferred from July and August last year are expected to be paid before the newly agreed deadline of February 16. Inter took the decision to postpone payment as they fought against the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic in Italy.
