Inter have reached an agreement with their players over wage payments for the months of November and December, according to an Italian media report this evening.

As per Gazzetta dello Sport‘s online edition, there was a meeting today between the Nerazzurri’s management and captain Samir Handanovic at the club’s training ground.

All Inter’s players have agreed to postpone the November and December payments until the end of the current season.

The report from the Milan-based news outlet also confirmed that Inter paid their players their salaries for the months of both July and August yesterday.

The agreement regarding November and December payments only has to be formalised now as required by federal regulations, in order to ensure Inter avoid punishment for missing the Italian Football Federation’s general deadline on February 16.

Serie A clubs who do not pay outstanding salaries by that date risk facing a points deduction, unless they can agree otherwise with their players and provide written evidence.
