Inter already have very clear ideas for how to improve Antonio Conte’s squad in the summer, according to an Italian media report today.
As per CalcioMercato.com, the Nerazzurri’s management believe there are four areas of the pitch that particularly need an upgrade.
First, Inter need a top-level goalkeeper to join the club as a replacement for the ageing and increasingly error-prone Samir Handanovic.
They would then like a player similar to right wing-back Achraf Hakimi on the left-hand side, while a back-up to Marcelo Brozovic will also be sought given that not even Christian Eriksen has proved able to fulfil that role.
Finally, Inter will also seek a back-up striker for Romelu Lukaku.
The report warned that it was virtually impossible for Piero Ausilio and Beppe Marotta to put any plans in place at present, though, given the uncertainty over Inter’s ownership situation.
Ausilio and Marotta do not know yet who they will be answering to in the summer and how much money they will have available to spend.
