After enjoying good form recently, Inter midfielder Christian Eriksen will be rewarded with a starting berth against Genoa in Serie A tomorrow.

The Denmark international caught the eye in the Nerazzurri’s 3-0 victory over AC Milan in the Derby della Madonnina last weekend, helping Inter open up a four point gap at the top of the table.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Corriere dello Sport, coach Antonio Conte is avoiding any hints of complacency and will field his strongest team for the remainder of the season, with Eriksen set to be included.

The former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder will retain his place in the middle, forcing Chile international Arturo Vidal to the bench for the clash against the Grifone.

Elsewhere, Matteo Darmian will start the match at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza at right wing-back, replacing the suspended Achraf Hakimi.

Midfielder Stefano Sensi is edging closer to a return from injury but is not expected to be included in the squad against Genoa, with next weekend’s match against Parma a more realistic timeframe.
