Inter coach Antonio Conte is ready to reshuffle his midfield for Monday night’s Serie A clash against Atalanta, with Arturo Vidal coming into the starting line-up.

Depending on other results, the Nerazzurri could have the opportunity to further extend their lead at the top of the table as they hunt a first Scudetto since 2010, with in-form Atalanta visiting the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Tuttosport, La Dea’s physicality in midfield could prompt Conte to opt for Chile international Vidal over Eriksen, despite the latter’s impressive recent displays.

It would signal Vidal’s first start in six matches in all competitions, having gone off with an injury at half-time during Inter’s 2-0 league win over Fiorentina on February 5.

Elsewhere, Vidal’s compatriot Alexis Sanchez could be rewarded for his goalscoring performance in Thursday’s 2-1 victory over Parma with a starting berth up front, as Conte looks to utilise more of his squad players.
