Bologna have cast their eye upon two of Inter’s most promising youngsters ahead of next season, according to a report in the Italian media.
FcInterNews.it said the Rossoblu were eager to sign midfielder Lucien Agoume and defender Lorenzo Pirola on loan for the 2021-22 campaign.
Bologna have made initial contact with Inter about deals for the two players but there won’t be developments until the end of the season.
The two clubs are on great terms and this could facilitate moves for Agoume and Pirola, who are on season-long loans at Spezia and Monza respectively this year.
Pirola’s future could be dependent upon Monza’s promotion charge in Serie B, because president Silvio Berlusconi wants to sign the 19-year-old for €10 million if they make it into Serie A.
He has made just eight appearances for Cristian Brocchi’s side this season but has forced his way up the defensive pecking order since the New Year.
Agoume, meanwhile, has made 11 appearances in all competitions for Spezia under Vincenzo Italiano.
