Antonio Conte’s staff are ‘convinced’ Achraf Hakimi will take his game to another level next season, according to a report in the Italian media today.

Gazzetta dello Sport’s print edition said Conte’s coaches believe the best is still to come for a lot of the Nerazzurri’s players.

Hakimi has used this season to settle in to life in Serie A after joining in a €40 million deal from Real Madrid.

The wing-back is expected to have eliminated his last remaining flaws from his game by next season, at which point he could really show off his full potential under Conte.

Hakimi will blossom for Inter if he follows Milan Skriniar’s example of working hard and being patient, the Milan-based paper argued.

Skriniar struggled to adapt to life playing in a back three during Conte’s first season at charge, but the Slovak is now back to his brilliant best after adjusting his game.
