Inter have not ruled out a summer move for Filip Kostic at Eintracht Frankfurt, according to a report in the Italian media today.

Gazzetta dello Sport’s print edition said one of the positions Inter wanted to strengthen ahead of next season was their left wing-back spot.

Ivan Perisic, Ashley Young and Matteo Darmian have alternated in Antonio Conte’s 3-5-2 system but now the Nerazzurri want a high-profile reinforcement.

Kostic is one of the names Inter are considering, along with Chelsea duo Emerson Palmieri and Marcos Alonso.

The Serbian has provided 15 assists for Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga this season, while also scoring four goals for Adi Hutter’s side.

Kostic has 38 caps for Serbia’s national team and has found the net on three occasions for his country, most recently scoring in a 2-2 draw against Portugal during FIFA World Cup qualifying in March.

Despite their interest for the 28-year-old, Inter were reported elsewhere today to have begun talks with Perisic over a one-year contract extension.
