Andrea Ranocchia was full of gratitude for his Inter teammates after Wednesday’s 3-1 win over Roma.

The Nerazzurri secured a 15th straight home victory in Serie A courtesy of goals from Marcelo Brozovic, Matias Vecino and Romelu Lukaku.

Ranocchia was handed a second consecutive start against the Giallorossi and produced a fine performance at the centre of Antonio Conte’s three-man defence.

The 33-year-old played the full 90 minutes at San Siro and wrote on Instagram after the match: “What a great honour to play alongside these guys, another win!

“Always, Forza Inter!”
