Inter have already decided on their first ‘signing’ for the upcoming summer transfer window, according to a report in the Italian media today.
As per Tuttosport’s print edition, the Nerazzurri’s first move will be to recall Federico Dimarco after his season-long loan at Hellas Verona.
Dimarco is due to replace Ashley Young in the club’s left wing-back spot, with the Englishman out of contract at the end of the season and set to depart.
The 23-year-old has scored five goals for Hellas Verona this season, most recently scoring their equaliser two weekends ago in a 1-1 draw with Torino.
Inter’s transfer plans will be the key discussion point when Antonio Conte meets president Steven Zhang at the end of the season, the Turin-based paper explained.
The Nerazzurri are likely to sell one of their key players before June 30 due to their well-documented financial problems, but Suning are hoping to guarantee Conte ‘a competitive squad’ for next season anyway.
