Inter have honoured Nicolo Barella’s contribution to Italy’s 2-1 win over Austria in the Euro 2020 round of 16.
In a tweet from the club’s official account, Inter pointed out that Nicolo Barella played 68 minutes in what was an extremely tough game for Gli Azzurri. Roberto Mancini’s side breezed though the group stage but Austria put up a strong fight.
The game went to extra-time where Federico Chiesa and Matteo Pessina both scored off the bench to secure a place in the quarter-final.
