Rigoberto Rivas and Lorenzo Gavioli have officially left Inter to join Serie B side Reggina next season.

This is confirmed by Reggina’s official website, which announces that Rivas joins the club on a permanent basis after spending two seasons on loan, while Gavioli has arrived on loan with an obligation to buy.

22-year-old Honduran international Rivas is a player who Inter have owned since 2017, with the attacker having had loan spells at several clubs, and the player has settled in well in Reggina since first coming to the club in 2019.

The Calabrian side were keen to retain the player on a permanent basis thanks to his importance in their squad, and talks for his sale have led to the Serie B team receiving their wish, with the 22-year-old signing a contract until June 30 2025.

Gavioli, meanwhile, departs on a one-season loan deal, with Reggina having an obligation to purchase the player outright next summer.

The 21-year-old midfielder returned from a loan at FeralPisalo last season, and the Nerazzurri had been looking for a new club for the player, which they have now found.
