Daniel Padelli will depart Inter for Udinese after four years at the Giuseppe Meazza, and the club wish him the best at his new club.

In a goodbye message posted on the club’s official site, the Nerazzurri thank the 35-year-old for his contributions, and confirm that he will play for Udinese next summer after departing on a free transfer.

Padelli joined the Nerazzurri in 2017 off the back of several impressive seasons with Torino, and though he never established a regular role for himself with first-choice goalkeeper Samir Handanovic firmly ahead of him, his presence at the club was still helpful and appreciated.

Padelli made nine appearances for the Nerazzurri in his four years with the club, with six of them coming during the 2019-20 season, when he was called into action with Samir Handanovic unavailable through injury.

Most memorably, Padelli was in goal for a derby win over rivals AC Milan.
