A host of new names have appeared in Inter’s hunt for new wing-backs ahead of the 2021/22 season, according to a report in the Italian media today.
As has been reported today by Corriere dello Sport, three different Premier League players are now being assessed by Inter as potential transfer targets.
For the left wing-back position, Manchester United’s Alex Telles has emerged as a potential candidate. He has struggled for game time since joining Manchester United due to the resurgent form of Luke Shaw.
Manchester City’s Benjamin Mendy and Liverpool’s Kostas Tsimikas are also potential options for the left-hand side.
As for the right, beyond the regularly reported names of Hector Bellerin, Davide Zappacosta, and Manuel Lazzari, there is also Atalanta’s Hans Hateboer and Sampdoria’s Bartosz Bereszynski.
It is very likely that Benjamin Mendy will cost far too much for Inter this summer, but there are some very possible names in contention.
