Inter will wait for Arsenal to consider the offer of taking Hector Bellerin on loan for next season, with the decision now in the London club’s hands.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri are ready to take the 26-year-old on loan with an option to buy outright, but that the Gunners are not yet prepared to let him go on loan.
The Nerazzurri have been looking at the Spanish right-back as a top target to replace the departing Achraf Hakimi, but are only willing to bring him in on loan this summer for budgetary reasons, and would prefer to start paying the fee for him later when there is more liquidity to the transfer budget.
At the moment Arsenal are still hoping to sell the player outright, and would hope to receive an offer which meets their valuation immediately.
The Nerazzurri are awaiting the Gunners’ next move, and should the English side not find a buyer for the player on a permanent basis they could re-ignite talks for his loan move.
