Keita Balde is in contact with Inter manager Simone Inzaghi about the possibility of a return to the Giuseppe Meazza this summer.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Senegalese striker and Italian manager have spoken about the possibility of a move.
Balde enjoyed his best form under Inzaghi four seasons ago, during his final season at Lazio, earning himself a move to Monaco.
The 26-year-old has failed to recapture that form in Ligue 1, or in loan spells at Inter during the 2018-19 season or Sampdoria last season.
He could look to rediscover that form with a reunion with his old manager, and it is thought that Inzaghi would like a move to work with the striker once again.
It remains to be seen if a move will materialize, though for now it can be confirmed that discussions are underway and both Inzaghi and Balde are considering the prospect.
