Young defender Zinho Vanheusden will depart from Inter on loan this summer, with Genoa the destination.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reported on his site that the Ligurian club have agreed terms on a loan deal with the Nerazzurri.

Vanheusden returned to the Giuseppe Meazza this summer from Standard Liege, having been sold to the Belgian club in 2019, and the Nerazzurri have been clear on their intentions for the player.

The 23-year-old is still thought to have a potential future with the Nerazzurri, but he is not in the plans for the first team next season, and the club will loan him out in order to gain experience for him and aid in his development.

Several Serie A clubs are believed to have shown an interest in the Belgian, including Spezia, Sassuolo, and Bologna, but Genoa appear to have won the race to bring in the player for next season.
