Inter are interested in signing Atalanta’s Hans Hateboer, with the Dutchman seen at the club as a possible replacement for the departed Achraf Hakimi.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri are considering the player as a target despite his current club not being interested in selling.

Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin is currently thought to be the favourite to replace Hakimi after the Moroccan’s departure for Paris Saint-Germain, though the Nerazzurri still face difficult negotiations with the Gunners in attempting to bring the Spaniard in for next season.

As such, they are still keeping other targets in mind as options should an agreement not be reached for Bellerin.

Hateboer is admired by the Nerazzurri for his performances with La Dei since arriving in Serie A, and they could still look to make a move for the Dutchman’s signature if they are unable to sign Bellerin.
