Inter could allow midfielder Radja Nainggolan to join Cagliari on a free transfer, with the club not wishing to offer the 33-year-old severance pay.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri could look to facilitate a deal to offload the Belgian by including the likes of Dalbert and Nahitan Nandez in the operation.

Nainggolan has one year remaining on his contract but the Nerazzurri are hoping to offload him in the window to avoid paying his wages.

The player wants severance pay to leave the club, but the Nerazzurri have been clear that they do not intend to meet this demand.

Instead, the player could be allowed to leave without a transfer fee despite having one year remaining on his current deal.

To this end, the club are considering involving Dalbert, another fringe squad member who the Rossoblu are interested in, as part of a deal, as well as weighing up the possibility of including target Nahitan Nandez coming the other way.
