Inter are considering replacements for the departed Achraf Hakimi, and could sign both Cagliari’s Nahitan Nandez and Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri could still move for the Arsenal man even if Nandez arrives.

Nandez is thought to be a long-term Nerazzurri target, but they have stepped up their interest in recent days, and are exploring ways to make the 25-year-old’s arrival feasible.

The Uruguayan is admired by the club for his versatility, with the midfielder having been deployed to good effect as a right-sided wing-back by Leonardo Semplici last season, and it is thought that the club like the idea of signing him for his ability to operate in the role.

However, even if they do press forward with a deal for Nandez, Inter will still consider Bellerin a target, with the Spaniard having emerged as one of their top targets to replace Hakimi this summer.

The 26-year-old has handed in his transfer slip at Arsenal and wants Inter, although it remains to be seen whether the Gunners will accept an offer from the Nerazzurri, who are thought to want the player on loan with an option to buy.
