Inter are now the closest they have ever been to securing the transfer of Nahitan Nandez from Cagliari with just one detail left to iron out, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the only issue that the two clubs do not entirely agree on is the fee for the loan.

It is already agreed that the final transfer fee to be paid next summer after the loan is €26 million, but there is still a disagreement between the clubs over what Inter should pay right now for the one year loan.

Inter wants to pay €3 million for that part of the deal but the Sardinian club wants Inter to pay €5 million. This is a minor detail and is not expected to cause any issues for the outcome of the transfer.

Personal terms have already been agreed between the Uruguayan midfielder and the club.
